Political songs
St. Albans
We spent a wonderful weekend at the St. Albans folk festival a few weeks back. It was perfect weather with perfect blue skies and clear nights. Set between the mountains it is quite an impressive place to camp and its tempting to just gawk up at the mountain sides
Lots of music took place including a session that we played in that went on till two am or more and we just had to retire because we were collecting too much dew.
One of our fellow campers was supplying bottles of red wine and he proceeded to fall asleep with his feet up to the fire. As the evening went on we all noticed steam rising from his toes and madly jumped to keep them from going up in a blaze. We politely moved his feet and he proceeded to replace them. Oh well
The next day we listened to lots more music and went to numerous workshops. Then before leaving we performed in the "Fickle Wombat" and even the cook staff came out to watch so we feel like we did a pretty good job!
What a nice time we all had
